Heard It HereSPOOKY WAGONS: ‘ALL AGAIN TOMORROW’ DEBUT E.P. REVIEW

Coventry band Spooky Wagons have recently released their debut E.P., ‘All Again Tomorrow’, and it is a record that any musician of any stature would be proud of putting out.

The opening track ‘Youth‘, my first thought was “is this going to be another one of these acoustic wannabes trying to fit the boots of many acoustic musicians before them?” As soon as the piano and harmonies hit my ears however, that thought vanished.

The lyrics by vocalist Nathan Fitzpatrick could put any listener into a state of deep thought, hypnotically and effortlessly delivered. The simple guitar riffs nicely fill any gaps in the music, which without them, could turn the song into a piece of quite empty work.
